Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for corporate, site, sales, and support functions.
  • Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirementsand hiring plans.
  • Manage vendor agencies, recruitment consultants, and internal hiring channels.
  • Ensure timely onboarding and completion of documentation for new hires.

2. HR Operations & Policy Implementation

  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks.
  • Oversee attendance, leave management, payroll coordination, and employee records.
  • Ensure smooth execution of confirmation, promotion, transfer, and exit processes.

3. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee grievances and conflict resolution.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, internal communication, and welfare programs.
  • Promote a positive work culture aligned with Esteem Ventures’ values.
  • 4. Performance Management & Learning
  • Manage performance appraisal processes, goal setting, and review cycles.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate internal or external learning programs.
  • Support leadership in succession planning and employee development initiatives.

5. Statutory Compliance & Labor Laws

  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including PF, ESI, gratuity, labour laws, and local regulations.
  • Handle audits, inspections, and HR-related compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate with consultants and legal advisors as required.
  • 6. Compensation & Benefits
  • Assist management in structuring competitive compensation and benefits frameworks.
  • Benchmark salaries and benefits against industry standards.
  • Support payroll accuracy and benefits administration.

7. Strategic HR Support

  • Partner with senior management on HR strategy and organizational planning.
  • Provide HR insights and reports to support informed business decision-making.
  • Drive HR digitization initiatives and process improvements where applicable.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Proficiency in HRMS, MS Office, and reporting tools.
• Have implemented HR software previously
• Be comfortable with Data migration
• Train staff on systems
