Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution
- Plan, execute, and monitor construction activities as per approved schedules and budgets.
- Prepare detailed project execution plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality and safety standards.
2. Site Management & Coordination
- Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure smooth coordination between contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
- Monitor construction progress and resolve on-site technical and execution issues.
- Ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
3. Cost Control & Budget Management
- Monitor project costs, variations, and material consumption.
- Control wastage and ensure optimal utilization of resources.
- Coordinate with the finance and procurement teams for budget tracking and approvals.
4. Quality Assurance & Safety
- Implement quality control systems and inspection procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory norms, and best practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety reviews.
5. Contractor & Vendor Management
- Appoint, manage, and evaluate contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Certify contractor bills and manage work progress certifications.
- Enforce contract terms, timelines, and performance standards.
6. Statutory Compliance & Approvals
- Ensure compliance with local authorities, RERA requirements, and statutory approvals.
- Coordinate inspections and approvals with government bodies and consultants.
- Maintain project documentation and compliance records.
7. Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
- Prepare and present regular progress reports, MIS, and dashboards to management.
- Highlight risks, delays, and mitigation plans proactively.
- Coordinate with design, sales, CRM, and facility teams for smooth handover.
8. Team Leadership & Mentoring
- Lead and mentor project engineers, site teams, and support staff.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Build a strong execution-oriented project team culture.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and project execution.
- Expertise in scheduling, cost control, and contractor management.
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple stakeholders and high-value projects.
- Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera, AutoCAD (basic), MS Office, and reporting tools.
